The CDA continues its mission of making qualitative improvements in Hempstead's local parks. The pools at both Kennedy & Lincoln Parks were successfully relined in 2006 & 2007 respectively. Maintenance and upkeep continued on the tennis & basketball courts in both parks, which were resurfaced in 2006. Additionally, new playground equipment was installed at Brierly and Mirschell Parks last year.
